About Designs by Tris

After attending Appalachian State University for a degree in Biology & Graphic Arts, Tristan discovered her passion for places, the outdoors, and sharing the magic of those spaces with others through art. Tristan a graphic artist and illustrator living in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Her camera roll is full of snapshots of plants, places, and mountains waiting to be illustrated, painted, and enjoyed by those who share similar passions to the importance of place and outdoor spaces. In 2023, Tristan thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail and is constantly inspired by her experience and photographs she took on the trail. Tristan an outdoor enthusiast who gets just as excited about hiking a new trail as she does about illustrating a new design in Adobe Illustrator. Her unique combination of interests allows her the opportunity to create and share her passion for outdoor recreation, environment, and travel through her artwork. Read their story
