Love for retro and a nostalgic line are the hallmarks of Mouse & Pen's popular posters and illustrations. Helle lets her personality shine through clearly in her drawings. The various motifs are drawn with a slight of imperfection and a lovely naivety that characterize joy for life, positivity and lots of smiles in everyday life. Helle has drawn all her life and has always been fascinated by the universe of children's books. Artists such as Christel, Ole lund Kirkegaard, Ilon Wikland (Astrid Lindgren) Cicely Mary Barker (Flower Fairies) Beatrix Potter (Peter Rabbit) have been sources of inspiration for Helle's style of drawing. The story of Mouse & Pen Illustration began at the end of 2015, when Helle started drawing posters to sell to the city's many tourists. The first posters were put up for sale on the majestic staircase in front of the family's beautiful town house from 1790 in the heart of historic Ebeltoft. Passers-by were quickly taken by the unique atmosphere and the life-affirming messages in Helle's motifs, and the posters were sold quickly. In 2016, the local shops began to show great interest in Helle's posters and cards. Read their story
