The Haushamer mine mined coal until 1966. Hausham has been making charcoal with rum since 2017. Since then, the finest rum has been flowing through the distillery boilers of the LANTENHAMMER distillery. The coal hunt is the trademark of Rumult in Bavaria. It is reminiscent of the story of Hausham and stands for the hard work of miners underground.
