This journey began back in the 1990s when being vegan meant navigating a world with limited options. Undeterred, we went on to establish successful vegan cafes and restaurants, while continuously developing and refining recipes. In 2014, we took our passion to Germany, founding vegan brands that provide meat, egg and cheese alternatives, and serving vegan foods at pop-ups, concerts, festivals, and personal dining rooms throughout Europe. Our motivation runs deep. We’re fueled by a commitment to animal rights and a desire to reduce our reliance on animal products. But there’s more: we harbor a healthy skepticism toward big businesses that exploit the vegan trend, often sacrificing quality for profit. We’re here to change that narrative. At anok & peas, we’re all about comfort food with a twist. Our specialty lies in shelf-stable meal kits that allow you to create vegan versions of beloved classics. Think macaroni and cheese, nacho cheese sauce, and vegan käsespätzle—all made from natural, plant-based ingredients. We’re realists. We know the world isn’t perfect, but we won’t give up. Our compromise lies in providing all-natural, plant-based alternatives to comfort foods, with a special focus on cheese dishes. And here’s the twist: our products are non-refrigerated, reducing fuel consumption, plastic waste, and extending shelf life.
