About Beastly Threads

Beastly Threads is an eco-ethical textile company that supports wildlife and habitat conservation with every sale. Thanks for stopping by our shop! My name is Torrey and I am the founder of Beastly Threads. I dreamt up this little company back in 2012 when I was trying to figure out how I could make a difference in the world and do so in a fun, creative, beautiful way. I had always loved scarves so thought I would start by designing and producing scarves and wraps that were beautiful and eco-friendly and would also give back to a cause that I was and still am deeply passionate about, the environment and the mass extinction of wildlife. Each Beastly design is centered around a vulnerable/endangered species such as the green sea turtle, jaguar, rhino, and California condor. Over time I have added new animals, new environmental organizations, and new products including aprons, kaftans, sarongs, table runners, and pillow covers, all of which are hand block-printed and sewn by artisans in Jaipur, India. My hope is that my customers, many of whom purchase over and over again, feel good knowing that when they purchase, give, and wear a Beastly, they are making a contribution to the effort to save extraordinary animals and habitat.Read their story
