The fresh salmon is mounted on wooden boards, secured with wooden pegs, and prepared over an open fire. The result is an absolute taste experience that has so far been rarely encountered. Flammlachs is offered at larger Christmas markets and occasionally by fishmongers. For almost 12 years flammlachs boards have also been produced in Saxony. We make them by hand in a small workshop. They are then sold at fishermen's festivals and smaller Christmas markets. Restaurateurs have also discovered this interesting product and successfully offered it as a highlight at their events. Flammlachs is a great change from the same-old grilling routine throughout the year. Anyone who has tried it can confirm that no special knowledge is required. On the contrary, it is quite simple. With the right materials anyone can create a specialty that delights almost everyone.
