About Matcha Paper Co.

Christine Diaz is a visual designer and illustrator based out of San Jose, CA. She created Matcha Paper Co. from a need for a creative outlet outside her day job working in tech. It was inspired by both her childhood love for cute stationery products as well as her obsession with food related puns. To distinguish herself from other stationery shops, she honed in on the matcha aspect of the products and used that as inspiration for the brand. She wanted every customer who visited the online shop or social media page to immediately know that it was Matcha Paper Co. But not only matcha, but a fun women owned small business packed full of kawaii but sophisticated stationery products with quality and craft at the forefront.Read their story
