About Red Racer Books

Red Racer Books is a small independent publisher that creates children's books about Formula 1, INDYCAR racing, and other motorsports. Founded and managed by Andy Amendola, it all started with a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. Hello! I'm Andy Amendola, the founder of Red Racer Books. My passion for F1 inspired me to create engaging books that introduce young readers to the world of motorsports. As a parent of two young children, Blanca and Joaquin, I wanted to share my love of racing through fun and educational stories. Red Racer Books fills a gap by offering hardcover books that entertain, inspire curiosity about STEM, and feature diverse characters—showing kids that the possibilities in motorsports go far beyond the driver’s seat. As the sole employee of this micro-publisher, I take pride in every detail, from writing and developing books to personally handling orders and engaging with our passionate community.
