Art & Design by Shayna Sell started with a love of drawing and painting by hand and a belief that life is too short for art that doesn't give you joy. Shayna is an illustrator and creator living outside Detroit, Michigan, specializing in illustration art prints, greeting cards, and stickers inspired by good food and drinks, flowers, and human connection. She incorporates bright colors, handmade textures and line work ranging from playful layered art prints and paper products to minimalist wall art. Points of inspiration include vintage travel brochures, mid-century posters, botanical illustration, and old cookbooks. Her favorite mediums to work with are ink and gouache watercolor paint. When Shayna isn't creating, you can find her gathering inspiration in the kitchen or in playing in the dirt in her garden.Read their story
