NQ Jewellery & Craft Supplies is a locally owned and operated business situated in sunny Townsville North Queensland. After a 10 year gap between my 2nd & 3rd child I didn't want to return to my shift working nursing job - I wanted to be able to work at home and around my kids and husbands crazy work schedule. I started making earrings and absolutely loved this and the community that grew around me.... Unfortunately my allergies which have been a life-long issue didn't love the resin & my hands constantly had severe allergic dermatitis and deep down I knew I had to pivot my business for health reasons... North Queensland especially lacked quality jewellery and glitter suppliers and the desire to start and grow NQ JACS evolved with the support of my husband & Townsville making community.
