During a trip to Peru in 2013, Guillaume, founder of the FRANCE XXI brand, discovered its historic sites like Machu Picchu, its culture... and the brand new brand “Perú”, a country brand launched successfully by the Peruvian state whose pretty red logo is very proudly displayed on T-Shirts by all Peruvians. The trigger is instantaneous: Why do we, the French, enjoying an aura unparalleled in the world on the one hand, and globally renowned for our chauvinism on the other hand, do we not have our own “France brand”? If the name “FRANCE” is indeed the heart of the brand, the “XXI” symbolizes its values: on the one hand the pride of our Latin roots and the clichés that the whole world has towards us, and on the other hand the love of 21st century France and our multiculturalism. To unite the lovers of France through a collection of noble clothes made in France: this is the ambition of FRANCE XXI, the first brand in France.
