About Big Fog

Valerie Burgess is a is a digital illustrator and graphic designer working out of the wild woods of West Virginia. She makes art prints, stickers, riso prints, and more. Her work is inspired by the mountain-rich landscapes around her home, the imperfect curves of flower stems, and the fuzzy, grainy texture of colored pencils. Botanicals and animals are often featured in her prints, with a love of the outdoors showing through every design. She works alongside graphic designer Brian Dove under their shared design studio Big Fog, sometimes collaborating with Brian on prints and stickers.Read their story
