It started with my skin and became so much more. I've always struggled with my skin. Eczema, skin cancers, sensitivities, irritations and more. It wasn't until I discovered ayurveda that I understood that my skin was a map of what was happening on the inside, and how my environment, lifestyle and diet were affecting it. So, as a board-certified ayurvedic health practitioner with a master's degree in ayurvedic medicine, I called on my training in ayurveda and herbology, and my quest began. I was looking at skin as part of a system; from the outside in and from the inside out. Since everything is connected, I wanted a self-care approach that helped me from the outside as well as from the inside. That helped my body and my mind.
