Truth be told, we don’t give our jewelry the credit it deserves – so much more than an accessory, it’s a silent, yet powerful communicator of our personality and style. I came to the US for my Master of Fine Arts degree + went on to have a successful career as a designer + a social media marketing leader. Underwhelmed by the mass produced, monotonous goods, I began bringing back unique accessories from India. My ability to masterfully pair Indian jewelry with western outfits found admirers, and Studio Anai was born. Named after my daughter - it represents the confluence of the South Asian-American cultures. Studio Anai’s jewelry is made for the bold, discerning, multi-layered, woman who celebrates her individuality and expresses it through the accessories she purposefully chooses to adorn. Each thoughtfully chosen piece in our collection is born of centuries of skills and tradition and designed with a modern aesthetic. I personally travel throughout India to find small, independent, women-owned businesses and seek out designers and artisans that are experimenting with classical crafts to infuse a contemporary spirit.
