About Flaming Feminist

Flaming Feminist was started in 2020 by Meagan Martin, as a way to create art during a difficult year. Playing with the look of traditional prayer candles adding a modern pop art twist, Meagan thought she was creating cool gifts for people. However, with the encouragement of close friends and family and a little help from Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Meagan started a shop to post and sell her handmade items. The creations got such a huge response, that has allowed Meagan to continue to create and work on projects she believes in. Read their story
