About June & Lucy

Hi there! My name is Kristin, owner and founder of June & Lucy. I was born and raised in the Hill Country and have never ventured too far, with my family currently residing in San Antonio, Texas. I lived a relatively typical life until my world was knocked out from under me when I was five months pregnant with my first child, Asher, and they told my husband and I that he was going to be born with a severe form of skeletal dysplasia. For the remaining months of my stress filled pregnancy, the roots of June & Lucy were formed as I started designing and selling nursery art prints in an effort to offset some of his medical costs. What began as a side hustle stemming from a mom looking to support her medically complex child quickly grew into my passion, and June & Lucy took on a life of its own. Over the past six years, June & Lucy has transformed into an scalable business, providing everything from hand-lettered coffee mugs, calligraphy books, women's journals, children's activity books, planners, puzzles and more. With millions of my products sold worldwide, I am continuing my goal of bringing a little bit of sunshine to the ordinary, one hand-lettered design at a time.Read their story
