About Gaslight Coffee Roasters

Gaslight Coffee Roasters has been roasting delicious specialty coffee in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago since 2012. Our cafe is a social hub where people from all parts of the city enjoy community and coffee. We ethically source high quality coffees, highlighting and positively impacting the lives of farmers and their families, and develop a roast profile for each coffee to bring out its best attributes. Many of the coffees we procure benefit women-owned cooperatives, small-scale family and community-driven associations, economic empowerment groups, and entrepreneurial multi-generation farmers. Our current lineup of coffees represent the seasonality of coffees from around the world. They are never more than five to ten months off harvest, ensuring we offer the freshest crop available. We are a family-run business, owned and operated by husband and wife team Steve Chang and Kori Crockett. Steve has been in the coffee industry for over 10 years and Kori's background in social entrepreneurship keeps us focused on our mission.
