The inspiration for the name ‘Paper Harbour’ comes from growing up in a small fishing village in Prince Edward Island, Canada, where Janice and Alyssa saw local harbours as community hubs for fishermen, just like their own father and grandfathers. They wanted to combine their family heritage that’s deeply rooted with the salt ocean breeze and the sense of community that a harbour can bring and create a product line and community that helps people plan, grow and flourish.
