About myboshi

Japan, 2009. Even with an exchange of ski instructors, there is sometimes boredom. And so Thomas Jänisch and Felix Rohland were taught to crochet in Hachi-Kogen, Hyogo. The first DIY project that was created here: a crochet hat, yep. boshi. The colorful hats were already very well received on the further journey of the two. Colourful, individualized hats — they haven't existed before. An idea was born. And back in Germany, Myboshi was born. Crochet hats for everyone — for children and adults, in all imaginable colors and also very easy to make by yourself — a hype was created that was unstoppable. From a cap manufacturer, myboshi has developed into a young source of ideas in the handicraft industry in recent years. We believe that creativity exists within each and every one of us. That the world of crocheting and knitting offers a unique opportunity to connect people. Our goal is to make crafts not only easy, colorful and fun, but also easy to access. We love being different.
