We started our little goat herd when we lived in Iowa about 15 years ago. My daughter wanted to show a large animal for 4H and we just picked goats. We didn't know we were going to fall in love! Since then, almost all of my 6 kids have shown their goats. They bring us so much joy! But they also bring us a ton of milk. After selling it, drinking it and finding all the ways to use it, I still had way too much. So I made some soap and the rest is history. I fell in love with the craft, immediately. I gave some to friends, and one of their husband's eczema was made better! So I set up at a couple of farmer's markets that summer and people went crazy for my soap! I have since expanded my business online and am in 2 local boutiques. I am so grateful to all of my customers that encourage me to keep going. I love making soap, playing around with different designs and ingredients. Not using anything synthetic is a challenge and it's fun to come up with new scent combinations using only essential oils. Colors are also harder to get using only clay, food, spices and plants. It's a fun way to be creative while providing a product that is truly helping others. Thank you for being here in my little corner of the web. I appreciate you!
