I am Maggie Reyes, born and raised in the Philippines and now based in Rhode Island, USA. Maggie's Box started in 2016 mainly selling women's shoes handmade by local shoe makers in different styles and hues. What drew most attention and captured the hearts of many is our 'Abaca Collection'. Made from indigenous material called Abaca, or manila hemp, this native plant is considered as the strongest natural fiber in the world. With the help of our partner weavers and craftsmen in different provinces we can showcase beautiful world class products from footwear to small home decors.
