About SummerCay Candle

Hi there! I’m Brenda K., the owner and candle maker behind SummerCay Candle. SummerCay began in 2022 when I decided to combine my background in design with my love of fragrance. One year later—with the full support of my family, a whole lot of faith, and a calling for something more meaningful—I left my 9–5 to go all in on this passion. Today, I create thoughtfully crafted scents inspired by quiet moments—the ones worth slowing down for—and fragrances that make people stop and say, “OMG, this smells good.” You can find SummerCay at markets, online, and now through wholesale as I share these scents with shops across the country—17 states and counting! Each candle, sachet, and room + linen spray is made in small batches using 100% soy wax and high-quality, 100% phthalate-free fragrance oils, giving every piece extra care and intention. This journey hasn’t always been easy, but watching SummerCay grow each year has been incredibly rewarding—and I wouldn’t change a thing.
