At Arjarun, we believe creativity is a lifeline. Our nonprofit supports artists facing emotional, mental, or financial challenges by giving them the stability to create, heal, and thrive. Our journey began with our founder, Allison Arjarun, whose path reflects resilience and transformation. After a stage IV cancer diagnosis in 2018, Allison turned to creativity—dance, sewing, travel, and art—as a way to heal. She discovered that when artists are supported with space and resources, they create beauty that uplifts entire communities. From this truth, Arjarun was born. Our incense is more than a product—it’s a practice. Crafted in small batches with artisans in the Yucatán Peninsula, each incense is made from plants hand-foraged with reverence for the land. Ingredients like white copal, cypress leaf, palo santo, and Siamese benzoin are carefully blended to create offerings full of depth, beauty, and purpose. Every purchase supports our mission. Proceeds fund stipends and resources for artists so they can focus on their vision and long-term success, instead of basic survival. Each artist shapes their own creative mission, supported by a community that truly believes in them.
