About Imprints & Ink

Imprints & Ink is a new Irish fashion and illustration brand founded by Claire Malone, a recent printed textile design graduate of NCAD. Drawing inspiration from Dublin’s beautiful botanical archives, she creates original illustrations and luxury printed scarves from her home studio in Kildare. Imprints & Ink’s colourful printed scarves are available in luxurious pure silk qualities. Each scarf features a different threatened native plant species and depicts botanical subject matter from archival collections. These printed scarves capture the plants in an evocative way by borrowing inspiration from the wild and remote corners of Ireland where they grow. A palette inspired by the moody tones of rural Irish landscapes combines subtle and muted colours with richer shades to create contrasting combinations. Vibrant colours and earthy tones of purple-grey and rust create modern and fashion-forward designs.Read their story
