We are Nanducket, the world’s First line of clothing designed by a duck named ACK. The Clothes he inspired come with a story inside, woven into the fabric, bringing confidence, resilience and success to children everywhere. It's like a reassuring hug from their hero, empowering them to handle growing up. And it all came from watching a little duck who wouldn’t give up. Here’s how it happened... As a mother of three, I witness my children's hesitation in new situations. One summer in Nantucket, stuck in traffic, I watched a group of ducklings cross Orange Street. One duckling, limping and missing part of his beak, demonstrated remarkable resilience. This sight inspired "ACK, the Nantucket Duckling," a book I wrote. It sold over 80,000 copies globally, won 5 awards, reached #1 Best-Seller, and inspires courage in kids worldwide. Why can't clothing convey confidence and resilience? Hence, Nanducket was born. It's an extension of ACK's story, each design a tribute to his adventures. In every garment, we embed silk tags with ACK's positive messages, weaving his words into the fabric. Our fabrics are crafted for comfort and durability. Each piece is infused with warmth and encouragement, surrounding children with strategies for success.
