I’m Tom Shaw, a printmaker and graphic designer based in Wilmington, North Carolina. I’m best known for creating map-based art prints that utilize authentic nautical charts and historical maps, designed to be both meaningful and visually timeless. These prints have become customer favorites and consistently perform well in galleries, museum shops, and gift stores across the country. Shoppers are drawn to their clean, graphic style and the personal connection they feel to the places depicted, making them easy-to-sell statement pieces for a wide range of retail environments. This series grew out of years of creating concert posters for national touring musicians, and that same attention to detail and strong composition carries through every print I create today.
