Hi! I'm Ruthie. For many years I struggled with troubled skin and started making skincare products for personal use. I started Sandollar Soap Co. because I want to share how switching to natural soap has made such a difference in my life. As a registered nurse, I'm a firm believer that what we put ON our bodies matters just as much as what we put IN them. 60% of what we apply to our skin travels into our bloodstream, which is why all my products are made using sustainable & quality ingredients - always free harsh chemicals, phthalates, parabens, and preservatives. Cold processed soaps are all natural, beautiful, and can be tailored to suit your skin’s needs. Through the cold process Sandollar Soap Co. blends oils, butters, and lye together to produce a block of fatty acids and glycerol. This premature block of soap is then cut into bars and left to cure for 4 weeks. After curing, a luxurious bar of pure glycerin soap is ready to leave your skin healthy, happy, and clean!
