About Jess MacDonald Brass

Jess Macdonald Brass jewellery is an exploration and tribute to the magnificent landscapes, the wondrous ocean and beautiful cultures around the planet. My work is primarily inspired by Scotland's wild & untamed landscapes, rugged coasts and clan heritage, but I am currently growing my ranges to lands further afield. These pieces are wearable mementos, totems even a talisman to some. They capture and evoke emotion and adventure - memories of people we love and share our connection with the outdoors & nature. I am proud to say all my jewellery is made in Scotland! I either make my pieces from scratch in my workshop on the Isle of Arran, or I create a piece which has a mould made from it by a Scottish casting company across the sea from me and I have small batch castings made in precious metals. These are are then hallmarked, finished and detailed back in my workshop and ready to go!Read their story
