Mary Benke Fine Art Mary combines the creative use of texture, color, and design to evoke emotion and a strong sense of imagery in her Colorado-inspired paintings. Her expressive landscapes, appealing animal portraits, and bright florals combine her keen eye for design and love of nature. After working as a magazine editor and graphic designer for over 20 years, Mary rediscovered her first love—fine art—25 years ago. Since then, her award-winning watercolor, pastel, oil, and mixed media paintings have been juried into numerous regional, national, and international art exhibitions. “I'm inspired by nature and its beauty.
