About Gazete Azulejos

Gazete Azulejos is a tile painting atelier based in Porto, where we make hand painted replicas of Portuguese designs. Each tile is carefully hand painted in a very delicate process using traditional techniques. From our studio we research, promote and preserve the traditional Portuguese tiles used in the old days to decorate facades along the country. All the work we do help us to support our side project “Os Azulejos do Porto”, a non-profit catalogue of the Porto facade tiles.Read their story
