About The Patchwork Palette

The Patchwork Palette is a unique intersection of traditional quilting elements, cohesive paint palettes, and vintage paper. My artwork stems from a lifelong love for sewing and appreciation for the up close details found in patchwork play. Working with hand-painted book pages creates an intriguing interaction between the original story and the fresh brushstrokes at the surface. Small moments occur with typography, something that's really special about working with books. While collaged paper is my chosen substrate, all of my tools and technical process mimic the construction of a textile quilt block.
