About Penguins Pet

We are animal lovers through and through. My husband has been a first responder for 15+ years.After years on the job the affects on his mental health have come to the surface in a very debilitating way. He has been off work since July 2022, fighting everyday to get through serve anxiety, depression and PTSD. All the while, dealing with his employer who is unsupportive of his leave and has actually tried to prevent him from receiving any sort of disability benefit. After volunteering for years at a local kennel/rescue, he became aware that most of the dogs he was working with with were much too powerful for the run of the mill dog collar. Although the collar would do for a short period go time ,there was always a bit of uncertainty of when and how the collar would eventually snap. He came to me with the issue and described a Dog collar design that was on the market, but he felt needed both improvements and the ability for people to see and feel the quality of these collars were something of value to a dog owner. He wanted to ensure they were durable and comfortable for the dog and the handler. Every detail was carefully tested and mapped out to make the improvements we felt necessary. From there the "Pets" side of "Posh Penguins and Pets" was born .I am so proud to share this product ,as not only is the quality amazing. This has been a project is so much more meaningful then "Just a Collar".Read their story
