About The Writer Illustrated

The Writer Illustrated was founded by Warwickshire (England) born couple David & Lenora Minto, both highly distinguished artists working within their own different mediums. From a very young age David Minto was recognised as a gifted artist. His mother always claimed that he was born with a pencil in his hand! Lenora is a distinguished 3D designer and ceramic artist, who has exhibited her work worldwide. They have now united to produce unique, handmade works of art inspired by their mutual passion for writers and a compulsion to illustrate and be creative with both their writings and lives. Together they have created a unique collection of products using David's original and unique illustrations, hand drawn and painted in his unique style using pen, inks and acrylics. All specially created for lovers of literature. We produce an exclusive range of superb quality gifts based on the World of Literature. Designed, produced and hand printed in England, which portray classic writers on fine bone china mugs, each hand decorated with a writer's portrait, a quote and the author's replica signature.
