David Bowie, a Playlist in Pictures, is the story of a fan who creates a unique and collector's item for fans of the singer and fans of fine editions, illustrating 15 songs by David Bowie. Olivier Jourdanet's desire is to offer visual creations in various styles while offering overall unity. Numerous references to the singer's universe are nestled, sometimes hidden in the heart of the illustrations, to the delight of initiates and that of observers attentive to the richness of the visuals. The eclectic graphic style responds to Bowie's ever-changing image and music, but he has always maintained a common thread and great coherence throughout an immense artistic career. The box set was previewed in Philadelphia during the “Philly Loves Bowie Week” festival in January 2019 and was given to several former David Bowie musicians for the occasion.
