About Birrificio di Buti

Birrificio di Buti was founded in 2013 as an “obligatory” stop on a journey undertaken several years ago. The union, between the passion for craft beer and the desire to create a product of my own to be placed on the market, has led me to in-depth study research, brewing styles and brewing plants. After two years of in-depth analysis of the brewing world, in March 2013 work began on the brewery in a small room owned located in Cascine, a hamlet of Buti. In July, the plant is installed, small in size but technologically advanced with a production potential of 6 hectoliters per month. Everything is ready at the end of July, however the authorization to produce is not yet granted. It all starts officially in November. In the newborn brewery, the first beer produced is the “Palio”, a beer flavored with chestnuts in honor of the most important event of the municipality of Buti: the Palio delle Contrade. The other three beers in the range are then put on the market: Malamut Bionda, a Belgian-inspired Blond Ale; Malamut Rossa, a double malt scotch ale; Ceres, a Weisse-style wheat beer. During 2016, the previous plant was replaced with a larger 2.5 hl one and three new beers were born: an America Pale ale, an Indian Pale ale and finally the Malamut Christmas in Christmas 2017.Read their story
