Elise Mays is the fragrance mix-master and soy candle maker behind the Hannah Bean brand. Established in 2009 under the name 'Hearts Candle Co.', the brand evolved over the years until a collaboration was formed in 2019 between Elise Mays and Vijay Paniker, a nationally recognized Ceramicist. The name Hannah Bean is a combination of their daughter's names. The brand primarily sells 14 oz highly fragrant soy wax candles, with a sprinkling of one of a kind ceramic works in the form of coffee mugs and candle containers. Between Elise's love of candle making and family-safe home fragrance and Vijay's love of art and all things ceramic, Hannah Bean is a passion project for the pair through and through.Read their story
