My work is a celebration of change. Thinking about change as the cyclical duality of creation and loss. Creation and loss like ebb and flow, birth and death, inhale, and exhale. Change is a relational experience. Something like the constant co-creation of experiences amongst people, given any particular conditions or circumstances. So this idea of relationships, this idea of we, is active and create-able, changeable. Just as we are, right now, creating this moment together through words and print. My work is made using conservation informed practices. I offer a growing line of gicleé prints, machine jacquard cotton woven blankets, paintings, and functional art objects. All work is made in Albuquerque, New Mexico at my home studio, or with trusted fabricators and printers, here in the U.S.
