I don't draw my models beforehand, it is the material that directs me and the technique invites me to volumes. It's a dialogue between them (subject and technique) and me. I chose modeling porcelain. It has several working textures. It can be worked supple, in a leather look after a drying time, dries like stone. For each aspect a different shaping technique. It was through this observation that I began a formal work on the first gestures of man. I started by scraping, tearing off the porcelain. I crumpled it, braided it like a piece of rope. Working for 10 years for the world of costume jewelry, craftsmanship seemed obvious to me to get back in touch with a personal creation. Lucie, a jeweler and jewelry maker, joined me 3 years ago in this beautiful creative adventure. We work with 4 hands on all the pieces. After these moments of experimentation, we place these pieces of enamelled porcelain on a bust and we try to hang them around a neck. Like small sculptures, we want them to move close to you, to share them, to be able to show off. These are only unique pieces for this line.
