PARSEEDS was founded by two sisters who discovered the magical power of these ancient seeds during a visit to their father's family in their ancestral homeland. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, they were raised on Persian traditions in America, yet some traditions were impossible to preserve. One of these was finding authentic Persian food and drinks in America. On a scorching August day in the desert, under temperatures reaching 120°F, they were offered khak-shir, the traditional Persian summer drink, by their father's sister. This drink is not only refreshing but also provides essential electrolytes and boosts energy in the harsh desert heat. However, they soon discovered that khak-shir offered so much more. Much more.
