About Mauija

Mauija is the mental place in which I create. Ceramic, porcelain... matter, colors, fire...there is nothing else able to join all the elements in this way. My ceramic objects are Sensitive objects. Objects that are born from the research of the essential and the observation of the intimate of the form. Test after test, I search for the balance between the shape and the color... A patient work towards my inner peace to create objects that give me serenity and harmony. My little workshop is in a small quiet town in Portugal. The wonderful place I chose to live after leaving my beloved italy about 10 years ago. I hope this little world of mine can transmit you at least a part of the passion and joy that generates me.
