About COG

COG is a French brand of ethical and vegan sneakers and dress shoes. We launched our business in 2019 to offer ecological alternatives to leather shoes. Our objective is to democratize fashion that combines design, comfort and ethics, respectful of living beings and the planet. In summary: *Our products are vegan: we use 100% cruelty free materials (faux leather, faux nubuck, laces, glue, etc.) Everything is done to respect the lives of animals. *We consider humans: we decided to produce in Portugal to be sure that all workers work in good conditions, safely and are fairly paid. We also appreciate their know-how in the field of footwear. *We respect the environment: Working with Portugal is also a commitment for the planet because the country is not far from France, in fact, if we have to visit factories, our carbon footprint is less than if we had to go to a country outside Europe. *When it comes to the materials we use, we spend a lot of time finding the best possible alternative (appearance, ethical properties, durability). Our models are made with vegetable materials (such as grape grapes, cork) and recycled (plastic bottles, rubber, PET, etc.).
