About MATES OF NATURE

Designed in Cologne, made in Portugal ♥ MATES OF NATURE is a young self-financed fashion label from Cologne. Our goal is to create products with alternative, environmentally and animal-friendly materials. We use the natural material cork textile as the basis for our vegan bags and wallets. Cork is obtained from the bark of the Portuguese cork oak and is a material that is durable, water-resistant, and dirt-repellent, as well as velvety soft, lightweight, and flexible. Cork is therefore an ideal basis for handbags and wallets. The designs are implemented in collaboration with a small traditional company in Portugal – the country of origin of cork. Due to the grain of the cork, each product is unique!
