A National Geographic Explorer and Fulbright Nehru fellow, she has traced the world’s plastic pollution—from Connecticut’s rivers to Kerala’s beaches to the frozen cliffs of Svalbard. Her art is stitched from what our world leaves behind. In 2021, she launched Entangled and Ingested, an artistic investigation that transforms unrecyclable film plastic into life-sized portraits of animals harmed by pollution.
