Northwoods Honey Company began in 2017 with a simple goal: to grow a better garden. When our vegetables struggled year after year, curiosity led us to honeybees—and everything changed. What started as a couple of hives quickly became a passion for beekeeping, sustainability, and caring for the land we call home in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. As the bees thrived, so did our appreciation for the vital role they play in our ecosystem. Before long, friends and neighbors were asking for honey, and Northwoods Honey Company was born. Today, we continue to grow our hives each year, producing small-batch, raw wildflower honey and handcrafted beeswax products using wax straight from our own hives. Our honey is never pasteurized, preserving the natural enzymes, flavor, and benefits just as the bees intended.Read their story
