mallang society is a cute illustration brand featuring original characters living in a bright, pastel-coloured world. Their world is similar to our own, but animals have their own special society in the middle of the Pacific Ocean! From Eucari the matcha-making koala to Aarong the coffee-loving white tiger and Yuja the energetic cat, the Mallang Society trio relaxes, explores, and enjoys small moments together. About the Illustrator Bea King is an illustrator born in Newcastle, Australia and currently based in Sydney. She was inspired to create mallang society after growing up loving cute characters and always dreaming of creating them herself. After having the chance to live in Japan for two years, she finally found the courage to take that step and start my her own brand inspired by cute character culture. She designed the three main characters to feel like familiar friends, inspired by the people close to her.Read their story
