About Château de Brague

Since the Renaissance, the Château de Brague has overseen a site of more than 60 hectares in the heart of the Bordeaux region, on the right bank of the Dordogne, near Fronsac and Saint-Émilion. Amidst woods and meadows, on 20 hectares, the best lands have been planted for centuries with the emblematic grape varieties of Bordeaux, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by Malbec. In white, Sémillon reigns on our old vines dating from 1951, accompanied by Sauvignon. Our vines are balanced on exceptional clay-limestone terroirs between the large plateau to the north and the south-facing slopes, representing nearly 100,000 vine stocks, which we maintain one by one, all year round, to offer the best berries.Read their story
