About Five Willows Candle Co.

Friends First. Family Forever. Candles Always. Once upon a PCS (permanent change of station), two military spouses crossed paths thanks to the U.S. Air Force—and just like that, a lifelong friendship was born. We bonded quickly over motherhood, stroller walks, and dreams bigger than our laundry piles. Between our two families, we’ve raised five incredible kids (and survived the toddler years together—no small feat!). We’ve shared holidays, heartfelt talks, chaotic dinners, and countless “should we start a business someday?” moments. Then in 2021, Amy decided to light a little spark—literally—and launched a candle business. Nina, naturally, was right there with encouragement, ideas, and the occasional scent suggestion. Before long, we made it official: co-owners of Five Willows Candle Co., named for the five kiddos who’ve been part of this journey all along. Now, with our husbands no longer in the military, and our kids not-so-little anymore, we’re chasing a dream we built together from scratch—one candle at a time.
