The Story Behind Bark & Meow Every brand has a beginning, and ours started with a little mini Goldendoodle named Awesome. Awesome is full of joy and love, but he struggled with a sensitive stomach — often experiencing soft stools and poor digestion. As his owner, and later the founder of Bark & Meow, I couldn’t stand watching him suffer. Determined to give Awesome a healthier, happier life, I began preparing fresh, homemade meals for him every week. Yet, I realized that fresh food alone wasn’t enough — what he really needed was the right probiotics to help his body digest, absorb, and thrive. So began a long journey. I searched across the United States, reaching out to probiotic manufacturers, testing and screening countless formulas. My mission was clear: to create a probiotic that was not only effective and safe, but also suitable for both dogs and cats. After many trials, I finally partnered with one of the top probiotic factories in the U.S. Together, we co-developed the very first Bark & Meow product — a scientifically formulated probiotic designed to support pets’ gut health, immune function, and overall well-being. Bark & Meow was born out of love for Awesome, but it quickly grew into something bigger — a promise to every pet parent: “To help your pets live healthier, happier lives, every single day.”Read their story
