HAND ROBE BY WEIKERT Tradition since 1912 combined with today's design! In 1912, our great-grandfather Prokop Weikert founded a glove factory of the same name in the Czech Republic. As early as 1912-1939, these high-quality leather gloves were sold to specialist retailers all over the world. After the end of the war in 1946, Prokop Weikert fled to Germany with his family. There, with the help of his three sons, he continued production at the company headquarters in Hesse/Weiterstadt. WEIKERT-HANDSCHUHE quickly became a household name in the newly founded Federal Republic of Germany and was therefore able to export all over Europe and worldwide. Our current brand HAND GEWAND by Weikert represents a new chapter in the tradition of leather gloves. The collections are characterized by a modern yet classic style, with great attention to detail. The mostly handmade gloves are made from the finest types of leather such as peccary, deer and goatskin. When feeding, we only use high-quality materials such as alpaca, lambswool or hair sheepskin. Our father Peter is still responsible for the design and choice of materials. We attach great importance to sustainability in everything we do! Our suppliers are certified by REACH and/or LWG.
