digitalKENTE® is a celebration of color and culture. Our goal is to encourage self-pride and self-expression in people of melanin-rich cultures through unapologetically colorful, fashionable print designs made for activewear, accessories, and home decor. Each year we take inspiration from specific groups of melanated cultures throughout the African, Asian, and/or Latin American diaspora. By combining modern craft and the ancestral patterns of these cultures, not normally found in activewear fashion, we remix indigenous textile motifs to produce digitally crafted designs that are bold, multi-dimensional, and culturally appropriate. digitalKENTE®’s print collections are meant to evoke a sense of history and nostalgia.
